If you are currently Registered on the Out of Work Books, or have signed Local 55's Out of Work Books in the past you will be able to Login and view current jobs using this website or through the Mobile App.  Only those currently Registered on the Out of Work Books will be able to bid on jobs.  Registered persons will also be able to re-sign the books between the 10th and 16th of the month through this Login. 

Local 55 members will be able to pay their dues through this Login.

Out of Work Registration 

Be sure to sign and send via Fax to (515-265-6194) or email to referral@ibew55.org.

If you are an IBEW member you should include an IBEW dues receipt, and a letter of introduction from your home local; or, if you were working in local 55’s jurisdiction we will accept that Termination slip, in place of a letter of introduction, as long as the termination is in the same month as your registration.   This will help expedite getting you on the books.

If you are not a member you may send documentation with your registration showing residency and classification (work history). Acceptable forms of such documentation include, a state-issued driver’s license or ID, pay stubs from past employers, and W-2s.

Out of Work Monthly Re-Sign Form

If you are currently Registered on the books, this form must be completed and submitted by email, fax, mail, or in person in order to re-sign the books.  You can Login above to resign, or re-sign through the app.     

Once you've registered in person, You MUST re-sign each month between the 10th and 16th of each month.
